Horse Riding on Noordhoek Beach.
Three rides stroll past the shipwreck of the Kakapo (picture right) and along the beach to the ocean's edge. The Sentinel is clearly visible in the background, guarding the entrance to Houtbay. A cloud roles over the Karbonkelberge. The sand is so white and soft that it looks like snow! The unique horse rides along the beach past the 101 year old wreck of the Kakapo is readily available from a number of stables in the area.
