The Beach House has a variety of beach on its doorstep, just walk across the dune: Long Beach is on your doorstep. 
Noordhoek Beach, six kilometers of snow white beach stretches from our doorstep and begs for long relaxing walks.  The beach is accessible only by foot or horse. With all these beaches on your doorstep, why go anywhere else ?

Horse Rides on the Beach.

    
Horse rides on the beach at Noorhoek is available at 3 differant times of the day.

Noordhoek Beach is famous for its horse rides. Beach rides are available from the Stable at Imhoff's Farm and in Noordhoek. Sunrise, Lunch & Sundowner Rides are provided.

The Cape Town Camel Ride through the scenic area is a novelty not to be missed by young and old.
Eight year old Kayla took us for a ride through the fynbos that inspired us to document the excursion including some of Kayla's Camel Ride Drawings.

Kakapo Shipwreck &  Slangkop Lighthouse

 Explore the remains of the wreck of the Kakapo, stranded in 1900 and now a landmark on Noordhoek Beach. The Kakapo is 15 minutes walk from the Beach House. The shipwreck, a skeleton of the ship remains well preserved in the sand where the captain ploughed her in a century ago, click on images for more.

Kommetjie Beach Walks - Secluded Beaches..
Where there are no footprints.... Far from the maddening crowd is a wonder world of timeless beauty and peace. Where there are no footprints, the sand is beautifully etched by the wind. The ibises comes for a beach party  immediately in front of the Beach House at lunch time. The culms of the restios blows in the wind as the waves crash to the shore, while birds rest in the afternoon son. The Ultimate Zen Garden...the wind etches the sand, colored by the setting son.
