Armor
plated lizard or skink on the rocks
at the top of the Cape of Good Hope on the Cape of Good Hope walking trail.
There are 3 distinct species on this cliff alone, the one in the
photograph being the commonest. These lizards seem quiet use to
visitors. These little guys feed on flying insects and have a ball
eating the little gnats that fly around.

Angulate Tortoises
often cross the road and on a single trip to Olifantsbos we encountered 4.
Please obey the speed restriction in the Cape Point Nature Reserve and do
not drive over the tortoises.
Other reptiles
in Cape Point include snakes such as the Puff Adder, Cape Cobra, Mole
Snake and Boomslang.
