| Muizenburg Beach is a popular venue for less experienced windsurfers and more often than not a paradise for experienced riders. The very gradual increase in depth and enormous amount of space makes learning windsurfing fun and safe at many of Cape Town's beaches. More experienced windsurfers often ride in Kommetjie Bay. | |||||||||||

The shape of the Western Cape Peninsula and abundance of beaches on both the Atlantic and Indian Ocean side of Cape Point, insures that there is always an off-shore to take off in. Blouberg Strand is another very popular windsurfing spot. |
